Lisa has helped me with both improving my sport performance and injury recovery: learning how to get mobility through my back instantly unlocked a problem on the climbing wall; and we are building movements into my existing warm up routine which help with my knee flare ups. Highly recommend

I highly recommend Gower Postural Therapy, I thought I needed new knees as I’ve had pain in them for years. After only one session the pain had completely gone.

Our Approach

At Gower Postural Therapy, my mission is simple: to help people move freely, live fully, and not be held back by physical limitations that all too often lead to mental health challenges. Don’t let your physical limitations affect your mental health—this belief is at the core of my work. I’m passionate about sharing this approach with people of all ages, from childhood through to adulthood, because everyone deserves the opportunity to live the life they want without pain or restriction.

My work focuses on the fascial lines of the body—an intricate network of connective tissue that links muscles, bones, and joints. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, I assess how these lines function as a whole, identifying where tension, imbalance or restriction is impacting posture, movement, and overall wellbeing. By combining this detailed anatomical insight with and Pilates-based advanced manual and rosetted techniques and targeted movement re-education, I address the root causes of pain and dysfunction, helping restore mobility, control, and confidence.

This approach empowers people to reconnect with their bodies, return to the activities they love, and maintain their physical and mental health over the long term.

Why not watch what is the meaning of fascia and why it is vitally important to you below!

About Me

Hi, I'm Lisa, founder of Gower Postural Therapy. As one of the few Rossiter practitioners in the United Kingdom—and among a small number globally with the ability to assess individual anatomy lines to pinpoint the true source of pain—I offer a uniquely precise approach to bodywork and pain relief. I also hold a masters from which i studied and trained with basi in Pilates from Colorado and California, which I use to help clients reeducate and regain control over their movement patterns for lasting results.

Beyond my professional life, I’m a proud mother of five and a lifelong sports enthusiast. At 43, I stay active through climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, paddle boarding, and snowboarding—not just for the love of it, but to maintain the freedom to move and enjoy life on my own terms for as long as possible. I bring that same passion into my work, helping others keep doing what they love, pain-free.
